Long May He Reign
We are kindred and over the course of our lives in the shadow of undeath we see many changes
in the world around us. The mortals see the brunt of the change and we watch the world move
at a different pace than we do. These nights a change comes to us in this great domain of
Orlando. Our previous Prince, Prince Eugene Babbage, was called away by his Sire to secure
another city for the Camarilla. He has named his successor so please join me in welcoming
Prince Lemont Lesche!
Blackthorne Bind
A troubling name in Orlando has made himself known to the domain. Many kindred received
invitations to what would prove to be an inauspicious event. On the evening of 14 December,
2024, several kindred, including newly appointed Prince Lesche, went to a Christmas party at the
Blackthorne estate. Blackthorne is a well known and wealthy name in Orlando but that was
previously assumed to only be well known to the mortals. Unfortunately, that is not the case. At
the event, party goers were heavily encouraged to make sizable donations to the Toys for Tots
charity and in return, they were given a gift by the party’s Santa. For most, the gift was a nice
Lego set from the travel series of Legos. For kindred who donated, they received a Lego set of
Orlando’s very own Leu Gardens, a set that had to have been specially commissioned by
Blackthorne. These were a clear message that he knows of our nature. The message was
crystallized when he invited us to see his private and exclusive library. Those who went heard
Blackthorne talk about his personal hunt against who he has deemed to be criminals throughout
history who did not receive punishment. He has somehow managed to trap their souls in
wanted posters and he made it very clear that he thought if someone had “sinned”, then their
entire bloodline would be tainted and punishment should follow. Please be extra vigilant going
forward, especially as we know that Blackthorne is not a mortal. Check security at your havens
and other important places in your territory.
Strange Symbols Plaguing Orlando
Odd symbols on buildings and other infrastructure have been reported by mortal news stations
and it seems to be appearing in or on kindred spaces. It is far too ordered and perfect to be
street art nor is it a known symbol of any gangs in the area. Continue to be vigilant and report
any sightings in your territory to Herald Lewis or one of his Scribes. Shadows have also been
behaving strangely of late. Could these be related? The night is dark and full of terrors, indeed.
