It seems the family values crowd is up in arms again, protesting around the Rogers Building for the last week. After a small-time drug dealer selling Elite to a variety of high schoolers was arrested outside the building when one high schooler overdosed and died outside the building, local pastors have been using the footsteps of the building as a protest and rally point. “Not In Our Town! Not In Our Town!” has been the rallying cheer, with protesters talking up the historic nature of the building and protesting it used to peddle sin.
